On Sunday afternoon Mr. Flood and his quiz teams once again travelled to Gorey for heat 2 of the Altura credit union quiz. Qualification today was made possible as both teams finished top of the table board last weekend in their respective age categories. Once again the children proved victorious by winning the U13 category and finishing a very close second in the U11 category.
This is an amazing and unprecedented achievement for the children, as not only do they qualify once again for the All Ireland final in the RDS in April but it is rare that two teams qualify from a school, one from each age category which is a testament to Mr.Flood and the children for their hard work and dedication. We are very excited for the next phase and wish the children and Mr.Flood the very best of luck!!
