We were delighted to welcome Yaron Oppenheimer, the Deputy Dutch Ambassador, to our school today. Our 6th class pupils delivered presentations on The Netherlands for him and discussed their Windmills which they designed themselves. Mr Oppenheomer was entertained with a music recital from Jack Higgins, Niamh Carpenter and Eoin Davis and also treated to a collection of songs sung by 4th, 5th and 6th classes. Mr Oppenheimer spoke about being an Ambassador and his home country. He was very impressed with our pupils and even learned new things from the presentations! Well done 6th class - it was a successful and enjoyable afternoon for us all.
