On Monday, the whole school was treated to a display of Dara Coyne's football freestyling skills on the school yard. He informed all present that he has travelled to football freestyling competitions all over the world and is one of the best at his sport in Ireland.
Pupils, firstly, were enthralled with a display of his skills which was met by rapturous applause from pupils and staff alike. Following this, he invited a number of children from different classes to come up to him and with whom he performed a number of his tricks.
Following this, the boys in 6th class participated in a workshop facilitated by Dara. The boys thoroughly enjoyed the workshop which involved the boys practising a number of skills and playing a number of games reinforcing further the skills he had already practised with them. Earlier this month, the girls in 6th class took part in a mountain biking workshop.
