Home Learning Policy
We aim High
Using our TOCHAR values of Engaged in learning, Resilience and Honour (in our work) our new Home Learning Policy aims to grow independence, raise engagement in students own learning, foster a enjoyment of life long learning, understand why a task is important, develop our organisational skills, promote study skills and links between school and home.
Ms. Kelly has put a video together along with the Home Learning Committee to further explain what our new Home Learning looks like
Parental support is vital to our Home Learning Trial working. The biggest help parents can give is to ensure that reading material (novels, readers) that go home come back to school daily.
Please see attached our Home learning policy and an overview of our what Home Learning will look like in each year band.
Kind regards
Ms. Kelly, Ms. Comyn, Mr. Flood, Ms Dunphy, Ms. Keogh, Ms Morrisroe and Ms. Brady
