Thank you to all the parents who took the time to complete the Homework Survey sent in early May.
We had 119 parental responses. It is great to see that both staff members and parents have similar views and opinions in relation to the aims of homework - please see illustrations analysis below.
Student representatives will also be taking part in a homework survey in the coming weeks.
As the final weeks approach, the Homework Committee (Ms. Kelly, Ms. Dunphy, Ms. Brady, Mr. Flood, Ms. Keogh, Ms. Morrisroe and Ms. Comyn) will be reviewing our current homework policy to bring it in line with both staff, student and parental views based on the surveys completed.
The aim is to replace some elements of our Homework Policy with a new 'Home Learning Policy' for September.
