The road safety authority are on site this week completing road safety workshops with the children in our school. The children are learning about what to do when they are crossing the road.. That they must “look, listen and wait” to ensure it is safe to cross. They are also understanding the importance of always wearing a seat belt in the car and wearing a helmet and a high vis jacket whilst cycling. The children have the opportunity to explore a purpose built village scene in the hall to practice these safety measures.
If the children remember their safety rules they will be awarded a safety licence which will enable them to boss big people around on all matters safety🚘 😊 Thank you to the road safety authority for all your work this week with the children!!
