On Friday 10th February as everyone finished up for mid term break. Students from fourth, fifth and sixth classes took part in the Altura Credit union quiz in the Amber Springs hotel in Gorey. We had two teams competing, one under 11 and one under 13. Our under 11' s team was made up of Evie Kelly 5th class; Daniel Corneliusson 5th class; Matvey Rusakovich 4th class and Brandon McCann 4th class. Our under 13's team was made up of David Kearney; Luke Rooney; Max Casserly Byrne and Donnacha Tracey and Megan Power (sub) all from 6th class. Both teams were extremely successful, taking 1st place in both age groups. A great achievement for all involved. Thank you and well done to Mr Flood and all the students involved for all their hard work. You did us proud! They will now progress to the next round on the 5th of March and we wish them all the very best of luck.
