For the 2nd year in-a-row, Roundwood NS has qualified for the All Ireland final of the Credit Union Primary Schools' Quiz in the RDS, Dublin. Yesterday (Sunday 3rd March) at the Riverside Park Hotel in Enniscorthy, our U11 team won their regional final to qualify for the All Ireland final on the 7th of April. They finished an astonishing 8 points ahead of the 2nd placed school from Co. Kilkenny. We congratulate the children involved on their wonderful achievement and are really looking forward to supporting the children in the RDS in a few weeks time. Congratulations to Mark Ichim, Conor Carpenter, Amelia Power and Matthew Doyle. We also highly commend our substitutes Roisín Donelon and Michael Fanning who also worked equally hard preparing for the quiz and who have shown great dedication attending quiz practice sessions and learning facts at home. Well done to you all!
