Today the team from Luggala, Linda, Maxine and Mike, came to our school where they were treated to a powerpoint presentation on Luggala Estate. Following on from the presentation, Linda was presented with a hand made picture created by the pupils in 5th class. This picture was made entirely of Hamas beads and has been created and presented to acknowledge our appreciation, as a school, of the new links being made between our school and Luggala Estate. The pupils in all classes will have the opportunity of visiting Luggala throughout the school year and take part in a variety of outdoor activities. This is a wonderful opportunity for pupils to develop their geography, science and local history skills in a beautiful environment. Thank you to Ms Brady for her work in bringing this to fruition and Mr Flood for his work with the pupils in creating the picture.
