We have had a wonderful start to our school year. We are thrilled to share that students in Roundwood National School collected the equivalent to 95,000 used AA batteries for recycling during the last school year, earning us the title of Battery Recycling Champions.
We have been awarded €2000 towards purchasing sports equipment as an acknowledgment of our commitment to sustainability.
Some of our pupils had great fun celebrating our win and we all look forward to putting our prize to great use in the coming months.
