Ms Kim Kelly is our Additional Needs Co-Ordinator (SENCO). 

Additional Educational Needs teachers for 2024/2025 are Ms. Comyn, Ms. Dunphy &  Ms. Fitzpatrick.  

The teachers of St. Laurence O'Toole's work hard to deliver inclusive lessons. The AEN team support in several key areas across our curriculum Literacy, Numeracy, Social and Emotional skills, Fine and Gross Motor, Assistive Technology. The AEN team continuously review and seek the involvement of class teacher, parents and students to ensure an inclusive education, for those students with the greatest needs.

The AEN team is involved in different forms of support through team teaching, group withdrawal or individual withdrawal support. They regularly collaborate with class teachers to form targets for students within their care.
